One guy came in my store, dressed as a city health inspector, used a thermometer to measure the temperature of the meat, said it was unhealthy, the store could be fined, then asked me to issue him a vendors check for x amount of dollars. I told him to leave and he did. One guy came in the store, dusted off packs of cigarettes, said he worked for phillip morris, then asked to go in back and carry boxes of store inventory in back. I told him to leave and he left too. My store was targeted by dozens of con men over a 5 month period. I am familiar with dozens of ways a business could lose serious money.
