One major cause of young people going astray is overthinking matters of the unseen. I, myself, had this problem as a teenager. I spent too much time trying to understand the intricate details of Qadar and Eternal Hellfire among other such concepts. This took a heavy toll on my Imaan until I learned and realized something very important: The finite human mind can never completely grasp the infinite wisdom of the Creator. The example presented is that very often parents set rules and make decisions that do not make any sense to children. But the children accept it as what is best for them because children know that parents know better and have more experience and wisdom. Allah is All-Knowing and Most Wise, which means that there will always be things that Allah knows and we cant know, things which Allah understands the wisdom behind and we cant understand. For us to have a comprehensive understanding of all the knowledge of Allah and all His wisdom would make us equals to Him in knowledge and Wisdom, and this is not possible, and a type of Shirk. The solution then is Islam (submission) to the will of Allah, accepting that Allah knows best and every decision He has made is based on His infinite knowledge and Wisdom. As believers, we trust this wisdom and do not question that which the limited human mind cannot comprehend.
