One night I had a dream. In this dream God and I are walking together along a pathway. As we are walking at a leisurely pace, I can see what I know is our final destination in the distance. I start to get excited and I pick up the pace a little bit. Closer and closer to reaching my destination I begin to run for I know this is the place Ive been destined to my whole life. Farther and farther ahead I run until I finally reach that place that I know is my destiny. All that Ive worked for...all that I desire is on the other side of that door. I reach out and turn the knob only to find the door locked. I struggle so hard to open the door only to find that I just cant get it open. Dejected and beyond disappointed I slowly start walking down the path again. As I approach God, who is right where I left Him, I begin to get upset. God I said, I know thats where Im supposed to be. I followed your path only to find the door locked. Why did you do that to me? God gently looks at me and says Yes, that is where you are supposed to be and yes the door is locked right now. But I hold the key that will unlock that door. The destination is important. But the key to unlock your destiny is found in your walk with me. Father let me not walk ahead of you for I may try to work in my own strength. Let me not walk behind you for I may become distracted and lose my way. But Lord let me walk with you so that I may receive the key to my destiny as we journey together. Amen...
