One of Satans main goals is to push us into giving in to our fears. Why? Because Scripture describes fear as a snare or a trap (Proverbs 29:25). Indeed, our fears put us in emotional and spiritual chains. When we are in slavery to fear, we cannot fully love: Whoever fears has not been perfected in love (1 John 4:18). If we cannot fully love, we cannot fully accomplish our calling as disciples of Yeshua (Jesus): By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:35). Therefore, let us pursue, with all our hearts, to no longer live in fear. Trust the Word, seek the Lord, and He will deliver you: I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4).
