My boyfriend and I are moving to Nola at the end of the month so weve been putting feelers out in hopes of scoring a cool place to rent. Were looking for a 2+ Bedroom, dog-friendly place with fenced yard under $1000 on a not overly sketchy block. We really like certain parts of Uptown (Broadmoor, Freret, Irish Channel) and Bayout St. John, but are open to Lower Garden District, Carrollton, good blocks in Mid-City, Bywater, Lower 9th ward, Holy Cross, or Gentilly. It seems like its been a little difficult finding the perfect place. The neighborhood is either a little too sketchy or the place is a little run down.
