One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received in my twenty-eight (28) years of existence was from Dr. Quenton Bonds, one of my friends and mentors. He said to “master the art of asking questions.” This way, you can see how either profoundly intelligent, inspirational, irrelevant, or even idiosyncratic people sound once you redirect what they say back to them in the form of a question. The key is to actually listen to the person without holding a retort in order to counter their own words and coming to an understanding without compromising Biblical righteousness.
