One of the happiest joys of long term weight loss is the realization that one simply cannot abide wearing ones older larger clothes a moment longer. Thus it came to me today. And so it was that this very afternoon, following luncheon, I repaired to the Emporium once owned by Mr Jones. My purpose, dear reader, was to shop for shirts. Oh the simple luxury of the properly proportioned collar, the sleeves of correct length, and the buttoning across the chest to sit neatly in place without stretch or pull. This was a luxury long missed. Mr Jones late Emporium was celebrating a further 25% discount on the price of mens, womens and childrens clothing, in addition to the marked down prices for the current sale. And so, at the sales counter, a fortuitous bargain was struck with the clerk for three of the sought after items. And thus, homeward bound, I anticipated the pleasure of dressing in my new purchases.
