One of the popular forms of Lord Hanuman is that of a five faced deity. In such idols the five face of Lord Hanuman shows the face of an eagle, lion, monkey, boar and a hayagriv. The five faces are supposed to represent the control that the Lord Hanuman possess over the five different directions which include –north, south, east, west and upwards (also known as zenith). Lord Hanuman is worshipped on the context of energy so as to control positive and pleasant energy as well as to overcome the depressing or distressing energy. All the problems related to black magic, shani, obstacles in the way of success are said to be solved after worshipping and praying to Lord Hanuman.
