One of the things I used to do if a soldier really ticked me off with sloppy work was to eject the mattress and every thing loose in a pile. Not seen here was to also tip the locker over and then set it back up so the unsuspecting slob would get to open the locker and all his stuff fell out. I only did this a few times and they really had to try to make me upset. To be honest you really had to work at it to piss me off I was probably one of the less intense drill sergeants you ever met. I think kindly is the adjective I would use.
