One of the two paved roads into Silverton and the only one from the north. When I cautioned a friend who was driving into Silverton for the first time about the road, he sarcastically said, Well, it has yellow lines, doesnt it? Ill just drive between the yellow lines. When he arrived in town, he said his hands were so sweaty driving the road that he had to keep the ac blowing on them all the way over and into town.
