One of the very best business advice I can give to anyone especially if you are working from home &/or freelance/independent contractor is to view your business just as seriously as anyone who owns or works in a brick & mortar. I cant tell you how many people ive worked with who have a great business but deep down inside they dont really believe in what they do as a real business and treats it more like a hobby that makes okay income. If you dont believe in what you do then maybe thats why your spouse/significant other doesnt either. Invest in learning how to run, grow and market your business. Some things come by nature like your gifts and talents but even those things need to grow and flourish to reach its full potential. Learn, educate yourself and surround yourself with a small group of like-minded entrepreneurs who are also driven, positive and passionate about what they are doing with BIG goals to achieve success!
