One other note about the race this weekend. There were four Luray Natives racing, Heather Sours, Katie Burner, Gary Drum and myself. While taking a group photo prior to the race one of the announcers ask us where we were from. We responded all together Luray. He said he would give us a shout out as we finished if he remembered. When I crossed the finish line he announced my name and a a big "Hooray for Looray" shout, as he did for eacj of us. He also mentioned that "Roanoke brought the most people from any area but the Luray crowd was the loudest!
