Who cares if the common men would be battered again by a new round of political instability, the resulting economic deterioration and loss of rights and liberties. Every thing is allowable in this Darwinian world of power politics; here survival is the name of the game !! And survival means the survival of not only the old, new and would-be elites but also of their cronies and the cronies of cronies!! So brace up for what Lenin would have said about such a pathetic situation--one step forward, two steps backwards. Thats the trajectory set by our state, political and propertied elites for democracy and for our collective destiny!
