One would wonder? Is it really important to invest in a grain - TopicsExpress

One would wonder? Is it really important to invest in a grain silo? Believe me it is more than important. Ive learnt from South African farmers such as Dannie Slabber that the concept of storing grain is to ensure that youre able to patiently wait to price recovery in the market while knowing your grain is safely stowed away in your own farm. This then brings me to a headache most small-scale farmers experience when they are blessed with a BUMPER-HARVEST. Theyd have so much grain and not know where to even dump it. A silo ladies and gentlemen is one important investment. The good thing about a silo is that, if bought by a joint venture of neighboring farms they can easily weigh how much which farmer brought what weight of the same grain being stored and life goes on simple.
