One year ago today, we awoke to the news that our God Father, Hero and Champion Jody Payne had left this Earthly World. Since that mournful morning, our Family in the Dallas Moore Band has rolled all across the land making our brand of music and taking it everywhere from the Texas Honky Tonks and the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package that were so much a part of Jodys Ol Stompin Grounds to the bright lights of New York City and Washington D.C. where he was equally at home doing what he did best which was of course Making Music With My Friends. Just as he said he would in our last conversation, Jody is with us Every Step Of The Way. His love, friendship and guidance have put an irreplaceable stamp on our music and our lives. Our Love, Thoughts, Prayers and Wishful Wishes are with Vicki Payne, Austin Payne, Waylon Payne & Brad Payne today. We LOVE our PAYNE FAMILY! TONITE, The Dallas Moore Band will play a show at The Southgate House Revival in Newport,Kentucky at 8pm with our friend Eddie Spaghetti & The Greatest Rock N Roll Band In The Universe Supersuckers. Our show will of course be dedicated to Jody Payne and I know in my Bourbon Lovin Heart, HE will be right there with us! GOD BLESS JODY PAYNE. LIVE FOREVER.......
