Per the article, a “new book by Naomi Klein claims that Virgin founder gave less than a tenth of cash promised to develop low carbon fuel.” “But by Klein’s estimate, Branson’s “firm commitment” of $3bn failed to materialise.” So that would be like all the dire predictions of the global cooling, global warming, climate change crowd that have also “failed to materialize.” Apparently failure to deliver on a pledge to support low carbon fuel development is something worthy press. But the failure of their climate change predictions to actually occur is just an “inconvenient truth” and unworthy of mention.
