Only Three Days Left to Get This In... CBCF Environmental Studies Scholarship CBCF will award 2 scholarships to full-time undergraduate students who are rising juniors or seniors enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university. The CBCF Environmental Studies Scholarship seeks to provide financial awards to college students pursuing a degree in environmental science or other related fields, particularly minorities and women. You must use your full first and last name as your display name when creating your application account. This will allow us to locate your application when uploading your transcripts. ELIGIBILITY (1) U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident (2) Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. (3) Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (4) Must be a college junior or senior during the upcoming academic year (5) The pursued degree must be in a subject that will lead to an environmental career (see application) (6) Exhibit leadership ability and participate in community service activities The ideal candidate is a student who plans to seek work in an underserved community. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Our two-part online application will require you to submit the following: (1) A personal statement essay (500-1,000 words) that addresses all four of the topics listed in the application. (Students should use the same personal statement when applying for multiple scholarships). (2) Two electronically submitted letters of recommendation with one coming from a community or public service leader (i.e. church leader, community leader, volunteer organization). (3) A PDF copy of your detailed, 5 page Federal Student Aid Report (SAR). (4) A 1-2 page resume listing extracurricular activities, honors, employment, community service, and special skills. (5) A recent photograph suitable for publication (i.e., a cap and gown picture, or other professional quality and professionally dressed photograph). (6) In addition, official sealed transcripts from all college/university institutions attended should be MAILED to CBCF to the scholarship program’s attention. PLEASE NOTE: Our online application has “two” segments. The first is the general application which collects materials relevant for all of our programs. Once you have completed this portion and select “Finish and Continue”, you will be brought to a section showing all opportunities for which you may be eligible.
