Only Two Days Till The Last Meeting of 2014 !! 5 Management Myths That Are Killing Business Have you RSVP YET? SEATS Are Filling Up Quick. SPECIAL MESSAGE From: Dan Lok To run a successful business, top-notch marketing is critical. You cant do without it. High quality products and services are definitely important. Good ideas - essential. But you can get all of these things, and more, if you have one thing. Im talking about the right people to help build, operate, and grow your business. There are bad employees, mediocre employees, good employees, excellent employees and superstars. You must fire bad and mediocre employees quickly, give good employees a short window of time (less than 6 months) to become excellent, and treat your excellent employees well. Ill explain what I mean by that in the future. For now, lets talk about superstars. Superstars are dedicated and hard working. They know their stuff. They understand and care about the business. But with their rare combination of intelligence and ambition, they can do something for you that you cant do on your own. They can and will take your business to new levels of success... if you let them. One excellent employee is worth three good employees. But ONE superstar is priceless. From the very beginning, you have to keep your eyes open for potential superstars. The likeliest candidates are people who are already working for you. which means you should never settle for second best when filling any position. Everyone you hire should have: * A strong sense of urgency. All of your employees should understand that deadlines are made to be met and that speed is money. They should also understand that business is business and its serious. * A strong work ethic. You want people who show up early and are ready to go, people who are on time for appointments. A pattern of showing up late for anything is a sigh of not caring. * Respect for your clients. You clients invest their time and money with you. The primary mission of every one of your employees should be to serve them. NOW YOU might be thinking, Dan, I work on my own. I dont have any employees!! Would I still benefit from this training? Let me just say, business is a team sport. There is no I in sports and neither is there in business. If you are serious about increasing your income, you need a solid team surrounding you for support, ideas, masterminding, and much more. Dan Lok P.S. On Nov 26th, Ill show you how to clean up your management style, eliminate wasted time with your employees, and keep your employees on track to perform at their highest levels. P.P.S.
