Ooooo. The lesson of the Money Flows, where the money GOES. Its not about a liveable wage. Not about tax breaks. Not about lazy workers or lazy CEOs. YET, it is. Its just a different WAY of looking at the problem. IF a worker gets double the MINIMUM WAGE, would they do double their effort? Would they even be more educated...initially? HOW would they spend this new surplus of wealth.....or just double-down on their bad habits...even more. Is it conceivable that Corporations would accept a HALF of their profits (still in the billions), to accept a lower status, while mending the middle incomes? Play a game of Monopoly. The adjustment of Minimum wage, is the knee-jerk reaction of a power player......stringing along a person near broke...in saying...Ill let this rent pass, but take other things in payment.
