Oor local polititions have no solution tae the debt.Its time now tae think oot o o the box. I have no interest in a political career,but no one is steppn forward tae save the Borders.The Scottish Government and Westminster could have ,...but left things too late. So,I do. As. a Producer,I look at the Borders as a Production,and in order for the production tae be a success,everyone in it has tae work taegether,and its up tae me tae create a vision for us tae work tae achieve. We have tae be Independent inside Scotland and Great Britain. A the Powers tae make oor ain decisions have been taken away. We want them back. I want our ain Police / Firesevice and Healthsevice under oor ain control. On a local level the first thing I want tae dae is free parking on every street in the Borders.the removal o a double yellow lines(except for private/emergency access) and the re enstatement o the fired Traffic Wardens,but in a new role, as assisting in keeping traffic flowing,and parking on the streets The removal o all one way systems.This will bring back the life o the villages and Towns,and make shopping a pleasure again for everyone.
