Op-ed: ~~~sigh~~~ Ann Coulter. Ive said this before: there is one person who, without fail, sets my hair on fire every time she speaks: the obnoxious Ann Coulter. Having just seen her Twitter stunt from this past Sunday (and the brilliant retweet responses from supporters of #BringBackOurGirls...bravo!) I am once again reminded of my dream debate scenario: Ann Coulter vs Rachel Maddow, whom I admire very much and who I believe to be possibly the smartest & most politically articulate woman in America. This dream debate inevitably ends with Rachel slinging Ann from the stage by her long blond hair. Even though they would be pretty evenly matched physically (they are both ~6 ft tall & physically fit) I still believe Rachel could take Ann simply because shed be smarter & quicker. My dream debate scenario as an actual possibility has come up a few times, and in 2006 Rachel told Tucker Carlson, in a discussion about Ann Coulter on his show The Situation, I dont think she makes very much sense. And so I dont feel very threatened by her. So there you have it. Oh, well. My dream debate scenario will most likely never happen. But I can dream, cant I?! ~~~sigh~~~ #AnnCoulterPleaseJustShutUp
