Because of our sin, we are headed into eternity without God. Because God loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place to pay for our sins. To get to heaven, you must ask God to forgive you; believe that Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins; believe that God raised Him from the dead; and commit your life to Him. This simple prayer will help you begin your journey with God. “Dear God, thank You for what You have done for me. I believe that Jesus died for me to pay for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead to give me eternal life in Heaven. Please forgive me for the wrong things I have done. I commit my life to live for You forever. Teach me to live as You want me to live. Thank You for saving me. Amen.” At the conclusion of each worship service, our Pastor, Glenn Clonts, will give you an opportunity to respond. This time is listed in the bulletin as “Hymn of Commitment.” Pastor Glenn will stand at the altar area and will greet you. He will speak quietly to you concerning your response.
