Other countries are there to help but if the people dont choose to accept the given fact that they too must help each other and themselves, then they might be headed nowhere even with the efforts of those helping...One might say: well its easy for us to say because we are not the ones directly affected, BUT it is also a fact that we too face our own typhoons in life and that we must learn to pick OURSELVES UP first before someone comes to lend us a hand, immediate psychological first aid must be administered not just by outside help but by the SELF...Where does GOD play a role in this? GOD has no fault whatsoever with what had happened to Leyte and other affected regions as well as the country of Vietnam, for NATURE runs its natural course and these calamities indeed are a wake-up call for us (ALL OF US) to respect the environment that had been given to us on a silver platter, nature that had nurtured and provided for our every need for centuries now...we (not just those physically affected) may have been physically and emotionally wrecked, but must make it a point to remain spiritually unscathed...
