Our 5th Annual Combat Golf Tournament was a huge success. We had Marines and Wounded Warriors joining us for a day of golf and camaraderie. We thank all our Sponsors, golfers, volunteers and donors who made it a best ever event. The winner of the helicopter golf ball drop, Roger Goulette, donated the trip back for our Operation Semper Funny event September 15th at the Irvine Improv. (Save the Date!) He wanted the trip to be donated to a deserving Marine. Hows that for generosity! Proceeds from the day will be used pre and post for our 5th MAR upcoming deployment to the Middle East; Care and Comfort boxes and support for the families while their loved ones are away. A special Gift from the Heart proceeds will be used to send our Wounded Heroes to the Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra program to rehabilitate through summer and winter programs in Mammoth with their families. Semper Fidelis and enormous heartfelt appreciation to everyone who touched this event in small and large ways!
