Our Aroha to Charles [Kayah] Tarehas whanau,especially his mum dad & his younger bro & sis who will miss him terribly. He was the bravest young person I have ever met, it has been a privilege to know him. Small in stature but a giant in faith.. The youngest male in the world to ever contract and fight that particular cancer.. he was also the longest survivor, he fought a good fight. Knowing & clinging to the love of Jesus he has and will continue to be an inspiration to many many lives. He has had his earthly helicopter ride, but now he is flying even higher with the Angels in Heaven.. His final farewell service on Monday 1pm at the HIllcrest Crematorium Chapel Whakatane. There is a poem about the Dash between when we are born and when we die that is truly powerful.. He has lived HIS - DASH well... May there come comfort, peace, & provision to his whanau left behind...
