Our DNA has a program for our bodys set point. That is the weight/size in which your body is comfortable being in. Many experience this after weight loss and they get stuck. Some measures are taken to get past this set point, sometimes extreme measures like starving or unhealthy fat burners. Then their body will go back to a size or so above where they want. To go below is rather unsustainable. Some of us are set to size 2 and ridiculed for being too skinny!!! youre anorexic looking!! REAL women have curves!!! And the size 2 women eat and eat and still they are who they are. If I dont lift, Im one of those. Some are size 8s and they may get ridiculed Youre flabby!! Oh youre big boned! Lay off the hamburgers honey! And they diet as diet and eventually end up an 8 or 10. Women and many men seemed to be programmed to not accept themselves in this state. In my opinion, if your blood work is clean, your % body fat is reasonably healthy at 20-25% (excessive body fat is tied to eventually causing metabolic disease, this isnt an aesthetic number) and your energy is great then its a body image issue and youre seeking fulfillment in an image that isnt tied to who you really are. Theres something to be said for being the most healthy version of YOU and having some damn peace of mind already. :-) Love, Coach Prime
