Our Friday Fighter Feature is Ladarius “Memphis” Miller. Miller joined Mayweather Promotions in 2014 and is the epitome of a rising star and future champion. Born out of the sometimes-mean streets of Memphis, this slick southpaw learned at a young age that any victory in life must be paid for in advance. Miller began his professional career on February 28, 2014 with a UD against Douglas Rosales on Showtime’s telecast ShoBox: The New Generation. Miller showed flashes of his future flare on May 3, 2014 during his “The Moment: Mayweather vs. Maidana” undercard bout against Richard Colas. The bright lights only provided Miller with a clear view of Colas who he defeated by TKO in round three of four. On June 27, 2014, he added win number three to his record in a four round battle with Jacinto Quintana ultimately defeating him by way of UD at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
