Our Laie Point did not disappoint the Hawaii News Now Sunrise - TopicsExpress

Our Laie Point did not disappoint the Hawaii News Now Sunrise team. The weather was great and the view was breathtaking. The Sunrise crew were at Laie Point way early and so were members of our community who were invited as guests on the show. Some of our Laie guests included Aunty Dawn Wasson, Aunty Keala Miller, members of the Kahuku High School girls Varsity Volleyball team, Kap Tafiti, Rep. Richard Lee Fale, Kealii Haverley from the Polynesian Cultural Center, to name a few. Brother Noland was the guest musician. Topics included Taylor Wily, the Mormon Temple, and key issues affecting Laie. Opponents of Envision Laie took the opportunity to make their statement with signs around the set. Maybe next time, the Hawaii News Now team will reach out to the community so we can prepare them a Laie style breakfast, so they dont have to eat McDonalds, and have them feature our talented Laie musicians and performers. The Sunrise crew on set included Dan Cooke, Howard Dicus, Grace Lee, and Steve Uyehara. Mahalo Hawaii News Now for visiting our beautiful La’ie !!!! #Laie #LaiePoint #SunriseShow #HawaiiNewsNow #TheGatheringPlace
