Our Prayers Are Never In Vain! I want to share a real testimony about the power of God working through prayer to break strongholds in communities. I was born again September 9th, 1999. When I encountered Jesus he completely set me free and brought me into a season of intense encounter and LOTs of prayer and intercession. I had a strong burden for Orting as I grew up there so I went on a prolonged fast for the move of God in the city and started studying and praying about how to see the city set free. My studies led me to a lot of teaching on the Free Masons and the stronghold that they represent when you uncover all of the secrets. After much preparation, fasting, council and covering from elders I went with a team to anoint the gates of Orting (the three entrances) and targeted prayer with anointing oil over everything that had a tie to and the symbol of free masonry. I do not think its a coincidence that literally within a few weeks of that time of prayer and fasting the Free Masons put signs up in the entrances of the city. This showed me how real spiritual warfare really is! The enemy does not like to let go of territory but he has no choice because we have all power and all authority through Jesus. It is amazing to see that many years later the Free Masons have vacated this location and that great God fearing people have transformed it into a place of outreach. Not only that but now there is a church meeting in there. I am absolutely sure I am not the only believer that recognized that stronghold and was praying for it to be uprooted out of our community, I know many others were taking authority so this testimony of breakthrough belongs to Jesus and the body of Christ. In addition I recently received news that a palm reading shop that was across the street from a prayer center I used to work at has been shut down. The palm reader had been in business for many years. The group I prayed with anointed it with oil and declared it was to be removed for the glory of God. What encouraged me about these testimonies is that I did not see an immediate transformation or removal of these strongholds, but in time they were removed. God is hearing our prayers and using them to uproot very real demonic strongholds and influences. In His time he is even replacing them with Jesus Christ, Kingdom oriented establishments that will bring Gods light from the very place that used to be a major stronghold of darkness. That is the greatness of our God. Be confident that your prayers of faith over your city, region, Nation, family etc. will come to pass!
