Our Sparkly Soul #inspiration today is our ever so sparkly and awesome Elite Ambassador Michele Gonzalez NYCrunningmama! She attended West Point (US Military Academy) in 1999 and first began running a deployment in Iraq. It wasn’t until her six years in the Army and three deployments to Iraq where she developed a love for running. Running became her outlet when she was homesick, lonely and depressed. It was also a way to relieve stress from working 16+ hour days, seven days/week as the Lethal Targeting Officer for the Division. Today, Michele shares her love of running through her blog NYCrunningmama and as a running coach. She loves that running lets her challenge herself each and every day!
