Our Thursdays BEST IN SHOW judge Mr Dan Ericsson talks about the Split shows https://youtube/watch?v=VEtKoVAScpc Over the years the Split dog show weekend has become synonymous with summer, style and that little bit of extra that all participants in the world of dogs are looking for. I was therefore delighted to be invited to officiate there for the first time and I was not disappointed! From the moment the invitation arrived till I boarded my plane back home after the show, everything ran perfectly with detailed schedules and programs and nothing was left to chance. Accommodation was breathtakingly beautiful and provided ample opportunity for relaxation and good food for the nightly shows, which were held in perfect weather close to the actual city centre of Split. I was blessed with excellent stewards and good dogs over the four days, all making my trip memorable and happy. In the main ring, some of the finest European dogs competed, so a wonderful weekend for a seasoned dog show judge! The lightness, ambiance and friendliness of the organisers was most noticeable throughout the weekend, and I cherish my trip to Split and will do my best to promote the shows in years to come. Many thanks for a lovely weekend and for looking after us all like kings – a wonderful experience!
