Our Year 1 & 2 children treated us to impressive swimming performances in their annual swimming gala held on Thursday last week, We had six school records broken, and the Redskins team emerged as the winners. Two pupils in particular, gave outstanding performances and each broke three school records! Freya Blundell, who was awarded the Year 2 Promising Style Certificate, broke two individual school records for front crawl and breaststroke and she raced in one of the relay teams that broke a record. Ayden Dirks smashed the school records for front and back crawl, and was also in a record-breaking relay race. The Year 2 Redskin Freestyle Relay record breakers with Freya were Jemima Chappell, Oliver Forrest and Joe Caton. The Year 1 Lostboys Freestyle Relay Record Breakers with Ayden were Joshua Oxley, Sophie Stickney and Lily Daniel.
