Our barber shop will start closing on Mondays immediately. I told the other barbers of this change today at work. My brother didnt react but I knew he didnt want it to happen. After work, I had gone to Momma and Daddys to eat and my brother came in to bring the shop bag to Momma. He walked in to the room where Daddy was watching tv and said, Did you really agree to close the shop on Mondays? Daddy answered, yes Robert I did... I walked into the room and said, Did you really think I would lie about that Robert? He looked at me and said, I wouldnt put anything past you if it meant getting your way..... WELL......I NEVER! ;-) My reputation precedes me..... But for once, my brother gave me way too much credit. This was Momma and Daddys idea. I voiced my opinion on the subject 7 years ago but I didnt say anything this time. It does sort of make me proud that he thinks I have that much influence. My silly brother is the only person I know that wants split days off. He wanted to close on Sunday and Wednesday. ???? Why on earth? 2 days together gives you time to do things, to get rested and if you want to go somewhere you can. If someone gets sick and needs an extra day off, they can take it and no one gets mad because they have lost their day off. It seems like a no brainer to me...... Oh well..... Daddy said so....so blehdeblehdebleh......
