Our beloved Rosie is retiring! She has blessed many families with her puppies and is now ready to kick back and relax! Rosie is a 4 year old, small standard, Australian Labradoodle. She has a non-shedding wool coat. Rosie has been a part of our family for 4 years now and it has been a long debate/struggle to decide whether to find a forever home for her once she retired from breeding. After much consideration we decided it would be best for Rosie to settle in to a nice quiet home. Rosie loves the dogs that live here with her as part of her pack, but the constant coming and going of other dogs and puppies in our program is a stress to her. After considering her and what she likes best, we decided she would be better off in a home with more consistency. Rosie comes from strong service/therapy lines. Her father, mother, and two of her sisters are both fully trained service dogs. Rosie is fully house trained and obedience trained. She is well socialized with children of all ages. While she loves the dogs that live with her, she is not always predictably pleasant with new comers. Rosie loves to be home with her family. She loves to play fetch, is an awesome frisbee player, loves to go on walks. She is happiest when she is snuggled up on sofa with one of her family members. One of our only concerns with Rosie is her uncertainty when off her home turf. She lacks confidence out and in different places but is the best girl around at home. Because we love Rosie as part of our family, we will be very choosy about her forever home. We are looking for a home with someone in the family home most of the day. She should have a fenced yard so she can run and play with her family at leisure. If there are children in the home we are asking that they be older children so that the family has time to devote to her and getting her settled in. Unless the family is very dog savvy we are looking for a home where Rosie will be the only dog. As we said, Rosie loves the dogs in her own pack but it could take some adjusting for her to get used to another dog along with the stress of a new family. We are also looking for a family with patience as it will take her some time to settle in to a new home and a new family. Our home and family is all she has ever known and where she is most comfortable. It will take a little time for her to settle in to a new family. If you are interested in Rosie, please take a moment to visit our website and fill out our application under the Adoption Process tab. Once you have submitted the application feel free to call, email, or request a call from us at your convenience. Thanks!
