Our children had their own beds and we put them there after readings books, hugs, etc. but sometimes, happy, we would end up in the same huge family bed..that includes all of my beloved other children, (my dearest friends children) Arlo Chapple Berletic, Mona Tresner, Huck and Coz Milton, the Douglas boys..there was such love and beauty when one or all of you crawled into our huge family-sized bed, nightmares, sleeplessness, so fun to wake up with the children in a tangle of solace and Hans and I slightly aside, leaving room for the children to be together. that bind is so comforting and amazing. I was just there to witness it all//they are all like family to each other still now.. and they are entering their 30s...it wasnt abt Hans and me, it was about them. and they are all family because they were so close.
