Our dear friends, Over 30 years ago I remember hearing the Spirit of God speak to my heart saying, Youll share my Gospel with untold thousands of people. I remember thinking from where I was then, WOW! I guess God has called me to preach to stadiums filled with people in places like Africa of something! Well... Africa (or stadiums) was not what He had in mind for Melanie and I - but He certainly has graced us with the opportunity to share the message of the Cross to untold thousands of people over the years even if it was just one at a time in places like Bourbon Street here in New Orleans. During our many years of preaching the Gospel, I have certainly preached in churches and venues of all sizes - but there is something lost when you are forced to take in the masses. What is often lost is that there are individual people that make up the crowd who God desires to speak to personally through His servants. Preaching, teaching, etc, are things that I do every week in the Church that we have planted here in the New Orleans area - and I certainly adore the opportunity to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, but there is just something special about going after that one lost sheep. Stopping a person on a crowded street and speaking directly into their lives; answering a question that someone has but never got the chance to actually ask a pastor or praying and ministering to a person that might never darken the doorstep of a church building has truly been life-impacting for me. Thank you all that have been such a huge part of this over the years. Your love, prayers and generosity have allowed us to say Yes to the voice of the Lord when circumstance would say No. Being your Missionaries to America...and Beyond is not something that we take lightly. We have endeavored to keep our hand to the plow and demonstrate a faithfulness and diligence to the call that we accepted many years ago. With each passing day the opportunities increase to touch lives with the eternity-transforming message of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus - and we stand ready and willing to respond to anything that He would instruct us to do for His Kingdom and Glory. There are obviously ongoing needs associate with the ministry - and we remain a couple that lives by faith and trust in the Lord to speak to the hearts of those that would desire to be a part of His work.
