Our devotions during Breakfast Clubs this week was on Hebrews 11:24-25 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharohs daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. First thing we thought of was what if in this passage we replaced Moses and He with our own names, and then replace Pharohs daughter with the world? How might that look for us? On the way to Breakfast Club this morning I heard the song Greater on the radio as well. The chorus line in that song is from 1 John 4:4 saying greater is the one living inside of me, than he who is living in the world. Let us actively make the choice to live in Christ today, and not so much in the world.
