Our father is said to be the foundation of our homes.They are our first mentors likewise to a mother. When a child’s life started, everything dark and hard becomes wonderful and great for a father. His feelings get overwhelmed secretly and talks to our dear God saying thank you. All fathers would probably feel the same because a father is a father and no one could ever take away his place. However, his love was sometimes tested. Just like in an Ad entitled “Love of a Father (Dementia dad)” where a son’s father has a syndrome called Dementia. Dementia is a general term for a mental disorder in which a mind’s capacity on remembering declines. One common example of this disease is the much known “Alzheimer’s” syndrome. The boy was loved by his father so much although he expresses it to his son doubtfully. His father possessed no education and was only a fisherman on their village. Day and night, his father works hard just to earn money for their living. Only timid smile and nod is the way his father shows his passion for his son until one day when his son was caught stealing. The father even scolded and hit him hard making his son angry to him. As time goes by, their dreams have been fulfilled; to have their own house. The young boy was now a man and his father grow old too. It was then his father had his Dementia. He often pees in his pants and even forgets the name of his own son. The son decided to take him in a home for the aged village and just look after him until he saw a letter written by his father. The letter goes like his father has known its disease but could not tell it to his own son. For the sake of his son, all his earnings have been saved to a bank account named after his son. In the end, his son feels sorry for giving up so easily.
