Our final question today is an interesting one from Rachel who asks: My wee girl is 7 and a half months. We always make sure her food is cool or cold before she gets to eat/play with it. She eats the same food as us but when can we start giving her food at the same temperature as ours? Personally, I always cool my childrens food slightly by serving onto a plate which has been in the freezer, then the plate stands on an ice block until were ready to eat. I usually touch a piece of their food to my lower lip to ensure its not too hot for them. I aim for hot enough not to burn, but not too cool that itll be cold by the time they finish. I think Ive probably done this from the start, with it maybe being a little cooler in the early days. What do you all do? - Beth.
