Our flag is the symbol of who we are, our integrity and our aspirations, our people and the work we have done to unify and work as one... So of course we should pick the symbol of our sporting endeavours because we are just a sports club really where everything is judged on hop, skip and jumping.....??? Silver Fern is great in its place... and it has a place... but to say we unify under it as one is a joke, just watch this space as it turns into a huge shitfight. Our flag should be the center of intense thought and debater of the next ten years or more, not ten minutes... IT is how we project ourselves to the planet... grow up, look, listen. ask, speak, think, then think again, then ask who is NOT represented by the flag for it is they we abandon with such vacuous nonsense...
