Our friends The Tallahassee Community Chorus will be presenting their 9th annual Unity Concert this Saturday, January 25, at 8:00pm, featuring Robert S. Cohens 2009 composition Alzheimers Stories. Mr. Cohen writes that audiences who have heard the work have been moved to tears, laughter and given a sense of hope through the works focus on the power of music to communicate. It promises to be an inspiring evening of music. You might even see some familiar Civic Chorale faces in the chorus and our soprano section leader, Julia West, is a soloist for the concert.
