Our friends at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Military Park are commemorating the 150th anniversary of the start of the Overland Campaign with a fantastic slate of real time tours and living history programs and demonstrations. They began their anniversary events yesterday with an opening ceremony where acclaimed historian Dr. James I. Robertson, Jr. was the keynote speaker. We were fortunate to have Dr. Robertson speak at our sesquicentennial events as well. Hopefully you can make it to the Fredericksburg, VA area for some of their events.
