Our galaxy began feeding again (Blazar) several hundred thousand years ago, the shockwaves, (as predicted by the mayans who looked up into the sky and did mathematics every so often) are finally reaching our solar system. If the tidal forces coming from the center of our galaxy do not disrupt the inner workings of our solar system (killing us all) then it will most certainly be at least, a Very good opportunity to advance our understanding of cosmic mechanics.
