Our justice system needs to be reworked from the ground up!! My granddaughter was jumped from behind at school and got knocked around pretty good before she could free her arms from the bag she was carrying. It was all caught on tape by the security cameras. When I said we were going to press charges, instead of my granddaughter retaliating and a war starting, I was told that if I brought charges against the girl, charges would also be brought against my granddaughter because earlier in the week, when the other girls brother had been harassing her, she touched his forehead and told him this is over get this through your thick head. Apparently in the eyes of the law that is just as much an assault. Moral of the story, Dont teach your children to use their words, teach them to use their fists. Thank you justice system, what happens next is on you, cause we tried to do it the right way and you gave us the finger and told us we werent important enough for your time!
