Our last week! Hi Everyone... Just wanted to give you a pupdate on our latest in the adventures of the LoveForLiv Fam. Were excited to report in the last week weve increased or donation total! Please lets keep it going!! Were still a ways to go. Time will go quick before Liv risks permanent damage. As you last heard, labor day weekend we wanted to get Liv out of the house, deservingly, and take her to her favorite beach spot in Orange County. We gathered all the normal tools together. The tote bag, the waters, water dish, towels, leash, potty bags (a must), sunscreen etc. Liv could hardly stand it. She could see the activity and shes one smart girl! Her barks were so loud we had to keep going to calm her down and promise her wed go to the beach and see the boats. She was extremely excited. Dr. Balfour said it was okay until she had her surgery and was in post recovery. We got out to the car and started loading things up and Ry looked down and BAM... FLAT TIRE! Liv stood there looking up at me with doe eyes. Wow. We just had this happen. How can this be? I took Liv back in the house and she was so good. Ry decided to throw on the spare because no matter what we had little day left and we needed to make this happen for her. To soothe her mind that it was all going to happen I let her lie and watch Ry finish up the tire and we were off. She LOVED her time at the beach. She met a bulldog named Humperdink who rode a Standup PaddleBoard for the first time. I think she was a bit jealous. She got lots of love & fresh air. When there is a will. There is a way! In the following days Liv was tired and a bit sore so she got massages at home. We spent time composing a Love For Liv flyer and distributing among local neighbors & places we frequent hoping some might call us for portrait shoots to help raise money for Liv. Just in time for holiday cards too! (Contact us if youre local and would like a copy or information.)
