Our latest business story and give-away prize will astound you as much as it astounds us I reckon! Asaf Zakay is one of the many examples of those with extraordinary talent who come to the shire with a dream to see their gifts really come alive and create joy and fulfillment for themselves and their new community. More than 20 years ago in his home in Israel, Asaf embarked on a journey of sourcing timber and glass and making them into stunning 3d versions of the Star of David. He then progressed to learning the art of stained-glass making whilst at the same time studying the ancient and intricate art of Sacred Geometry. This inspirational journey ultimately led him to Byron Bay where he sold his wares at local markets. He now presides over a most impressive gallery of awe-inspiring pieces in main st Bangalow, which is now a unique attraction for locals and holiday-makers alike. Asafs work is quite hard to describe with mere words and really needs to be experienced in person to appreciate the full effect it has on your senses. Rainbows of light pour out from the doors and windows of the gallery, a treat for the very soul to all who witness it. And I am over the moon to announce that Asaf has gifted us our latest give-away offering! The very popular style is called Tree-of-life, (see first photo), and is designed to be hung where it will best catch the natural light and can shine out to dramatically enhance the vibration of any abode!
