Our middle guy has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), which can look like a million different things, which I wont get into now... but one of his symptoms is an inability to sit still. As in, big time. He has to move in order to feel calm, the way most of us do when were sitting still. So one thing thats helped is a wiggle seat like this: lvsm.pl/1hWH0cn (this is the actual one we use) Somehow, this cushion calms his body and his brain—its like it gives his body something to do, so he can better concentrate and stay in his seat. Its amazing to me that this works, but it does. Such an inexpensive tool has really helped with things like schoolwork and meal times, so thought Id share this little tip, if youve got a wiggle-worm in your life, too. #afflink
