Our next Judge is all the way from Victoria, Megan Blyszak! Megan began gymnastics at the ripe age of 4yrs old where she flipped her way to national level 8. After 11years of gymanstics she was introduced to hip hop where she immediately fell in love!! She began teaching hip hop to kids of all ages while she was still in high school. Coaching many teams who claimed National titles, being lucky enough to take one of her teams to Dodrecht, Holland to represent Australia at the World Hip Hop Unite Championships just in 2012. Despite coaching so many teams she also excelled herself, auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance Australia season 1 where she made it to the final top 60. She was a member of the reputable Melbourne strictly all girl crew Hollabak DC where she competed in Aus Hip Hop Champs, Step Off, Aus Dance Festival, Aus tick tick tour just to name a few. Since leaving Hollabak DC she co-founded BC Beatz, Geelong Hip Hop Dance School in 2013. BC Beatz already has National Titles from Megans senior crew who placed 1st at Dance Star States and National championships, 1st at FISAF Hip Hop Unite States and Nationals where they qualified for FISAF Worlds held in Paris and 5th at Battlegrounds 2013. BC Beatz junior crews have also placed at numerous State and National competitions as well. Megan began pole dancing in 2010 at Pole Divas Moonee Ponds after he sister introduced her to the sport. She won her first competition in the intermediate section of Unleashed. Just after a year of pole dancing she bagan teaching for Kylie J Pole Studio in Geelong where she still teaches today. At the start of this year she decided to get back into training and try and compete in which she recently competed in her first semi pro competition Pole Candy, placing 3rd. She has also qualified for Regional Pole Championships and Vic Pole Champs (semi pro) later this year. When Megans not hanging upside down at Kylie J Pole Studio, bending it like Backham on the soccer pitch or krumping at BC Beatz, youll find her dancing down the corridoors at the Geelong Hospital where she works as a registered nurse.
