Our republican senator, Dan Coats, demonstrates his leadership by issuing press releases filled with rhetoric. Listen to our Indiana representative on the hike in unemployment claims: “It is concerning that the number of Americans filing claims for unemployment benefits has reached a four month high,” said Coats. “This report is further indication that in 2015 Congress must focus on building an economic climate that encourages job creation. Enhancing economic opportunity should be the cornerstone of our domestic agenda.” Washingtons idea of an economic climate is eliminating government regulations and cutting taxes on the richest Americans. Its all part of the failing trickle-down economics used for the past four decades. Weve been making the Elite Ruling Class extremely wealthy while the rest of us have been struggling. We cant anymore rhetoric from our elected representatives.
