Our schools are becoming more and more broken. Teachers judged on student performance to arbitrary--and often developmentally inappropriate--standards. Creativity development largely ignored. No art, no music, no PE. The stress of teaching/studying for a test that has little to no bearing to living a full life. I heard a story from a teacher yesterday about some testing that had just taken place, and second graders were in tears from the stress. Ridiculous. Thats not education, its troop movement, as is mentioned in this video.
